Overpopulation is the world's most serious environmental problem.

To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

第一段：Overpopulation is indeed a growing concern in the developing world,causing many of the planet's environmental problems（背景交代）.Although an increasing population does have a negative impact on the environment to an extent,the greatest problem is in fact caused by the way in which humans choose to live their lives.In the following essay,both these ideas will be discussed(題目改寫(xiě)+個(gè)人觀點(diǎn)陳述）.

第二段：Overpopulation does have a serious impact on the world's environment for several reasons（論點(diǎn)一，把大體原因拋出來(lái)，在后面的論據(jù)中詳細(xì)分析）.An increase in population means more pollution,caused by more cars on the road,more factories,more farming and more household chemicals.Pollution is a significant environmental issue and it can have a serious effect on human and animal health(論據(jù)一，從人類(lèi)活動(dòng)推導(dǎo)到人類(lèi)對(duì)自然世界的影響）.Overpopulation also means that natural resources are decreasing more rapidly（論點(diǎn)二，從自然的角度交代問(wèn)題）.The modern world is consuming more than it can produce.People are continuously buying more products and building more houses.Fresh water,oil and natural gas are just some of the resources which are in demand（論據(jù)二，繼續(xù)從人類(lèi)活動(dòng)對(duì)自然的影像展開(kāi)討論）

第三段：Perhaps overpopulation would not be an issue,however,if society changed the way in which it lived（讓步段，表明如果人類(lèi)改變方式，也許這個(gè)問(wèn)題就能避免）.For example,in order to help these environmental problems,people could try to save natural resources by using less water or by consuming fewer products.They could also try to reuse or recycle more.Pollution could also be kept to a minimum if people only bought organic food or tried to use their cars less（論據(jù)，對(duì)人類(lèi)如何改變生活方式進(jìn)行詳細(xì)描述）.

第四段：In summary,although overpopulation is a significant problem when considering the environment,it would be less of an issue if people made certain changes to their daily lifestyle（最后一段表明觀點(diǎn)，雖然環(huán)境是一個(gè)問(wèn)題，但還是有回旋余地，沒(méi)有說(shuō)的那么嚴(yán)重）.
