已在校正常求學(xué)學(xué)生 - 社區(qū)很安全，學(xué)生健康有保障

美國大部分中學(xué)都已根據(jù)CDC和世界衛(wèi)生組織的建議采取了一系列預(yù)防措施，以確保在校學(xué)生的健康與安全。學(xué)校的醫(yī)護(hù)人員齊全，可以監(jiān)控學(xué)生的健康狀況，并確保學(xué)生身體不適時可以立即得到妥善的照顧。采取預(yù)防措施是必要的，但各學(xué)校并不希望營造一種讓學(xué)生感到壓力很大的氛圍。

“We currently have 110students from around the world living and studying on our campus. This isnearly 10% of our total population of 1150. Like many schools we have beentaking precautions towards health and safety based on recommendations from theCDC and the World Health Organization. Our health office which is on-campus andfully staffed with full-time nurses and a visiting doctor monitors ourstudents’ health and makes sure they are well taken care of if they do becomesick. We have had no students with Corona virus symptoms, and we do not believethat any of them were exposed if they were traveling recently. With very fewdiagnosed cases in the United States, we believe we are at very low risk forhaving a member of our community becoming ill with the virus. What is moreconcerning to us is how are students here are doing while their families are athome unable to travel or, in some cases, go to work. We have been checking inwith our students and they seem to have a positive attitude and they have allreported that their families are safe and well.”

春假安排 - 學(xué)校紛紛建議學(xué)生春假期間不回國

美高春假一般為2月底至3月初，為期十天左右。眼下，各學(xué)校一方面繼續(xù)提醒學(xué)生和教職員工注意衛(wèi)生和防護(hù)，建議學(xué)生不要回國；另一方面就中國學(xué)生春假無法回國這一實際情況做出相應(yīng)的安排。校內(nèi)分管學(xué)生的員工與中國學(xué)生逐個落實他們的春假計劃，以確保每一個中國學(xué)生都得到妥善安置和可替代的春假計劃。

來自The King’s Academy（TKA）的Brain咨詢師強烈建議學(xué)生在期末之前都不要回國。如果有學(xué)生回中國，返回美國后，TKA將要求該學(xué)生在美國的一家旅館進(jìn)行為期兩周的自我隔離，然后再返回學(xué)校和宿舍。在此期間，他們將獲得來自學(xué)校的的遠(yuǎn)程支持。所有離開美國的學(xué)生，其父母都要簽署許可表格，以確認(rèn)了解其中存在的風(fēng)險。

“Students are strongly advised to refrain from traveling back to Chinauntil the end of the semester. If a student does, they risk complications dueto travel restrictions. If a student travels back to China, upon their return,TKA will require the student to self-quarantine in the US at a hotel for twoweeks before returning to school and their TKA residential care. If the studentis under 18 their parent will need to accompany them to the US and stay withthem. They will only have remote support from TKA during this time. Allstudents who leave the country will be required to have a permission formsigned by their parent stating that they understand the risks and theserequirements upon return.”
