物質(zhì)層面來(lái)看，大多數(shù)人為了滿足自己和家人的日常的開(kāi)銷(xiāo)，都會(huì)需要穩(wěn)定的經(jīng)濟(jì)收入，而這個(gè)收入主要來(lái)自于工作獲得的報(bào)酬。如果沒(méi)有經(jīng)濟(jì)壓力，很多人可能就會(huì)選擇娛樂(lè)等更有趣的事情而不是工作。

但是，這并不能忽視工作也能帶來(lái)精神層面的滿足。

比如，有的人工作是出于自己的愛(ài)好或者獲得成就感等，而不僅僅是為了錢(qián)，比如，喜歡畫(huà)畫(huà)的人可能會(huì)成為畫(huà)家，喜歡音樂(lè)的人可能會(huì)成為音樂(lè)家，他們都是出于愛(ài)好選擇這個(gè)職業(yè)而不僅僅為了賺錢(qián)。同時(shí)，有很多工作本身也賺不到錢(qián)，比如義工、守林人等等，如果只是出于賺錢(qián)的目的，那么這些工作就不應(yīng)該再存在，反過(guò)來(lái)說(shuō)，會(huì)有人選擇從事這些職業(yè)，更多是出于喜歡幫助別人、熱愛(ài)大自然等等原因。

There is an assumption that the only incentive to work is money; however, I would say it is an oversimplified conclusion based on a stereotype of peoples needs.

Indeed, many working adults tend to attribute their impetus to work to reality pressure. For those who think in this way, the only concern of people are their financial pressure on basic expenditure on everyday life, whether these be house rentals, education or medical costs. It is those bills that compels them to commute between workplace and home on a daily basis, otherwise they would have pursued other passions of life.

Plausible though the above statement seems, it does not necessarily mean that there are no other incentives behind those struggling for career prospects. Those focusing on material return of working are oblivious to the fact that their conclusion is a generalization based on their presumption about realitythough the financial plight or aspiration for wealth appears to be a common demand of the majority, it does not represent the entire picture; each individual may have their own reasons for their choice of life. For example, some choose to volunteer themselves for communities just because they find it more meaningful to help others. Also, many millionaires even work harder and longer than their employees, just because they are hardwired to embrace new challenges.

From what has been discussed, it is my conclusion therefore, people do not necessarily work only for money, while each individual deserves his or her own motives behind.
