The person I am going to tell you about is my cousin,XXX,the son of my aunt.Since both of our parents were quite busy with their work and had no time to take care of us when we were little,we were actually brought up by our grandma together.So we have been pretty close since we were born.

我要告訴你的人是我的表哥，XXX，我姑姑的兒子。由于小時候我們的父母都忙于工作，沒有時間照顧我們，我們實際上是由奶奶帶大的。所以自從出生以來，我們的關(guān)系就很親密。

Several months ago,I was hesitating whether I should sign up for the Top 10 Singers organized by my university.It is quite an influential competition,whose final would be held in the biggest auditorium in my school,which can accommodate 800 people.So I called him for his advice.He encouraged me to enter my name.And he said I would not lose anything even if I got sifted out in the first round.And if I won,I would become a celebrity in the school.I followed his opinion.

Without his encouragement,I may not even sign up for this competition in the first place,not to mention the championship.So I think it would be fair to attribute my success to him.

沒有他的鼓勵的話，我可能一開始就不會報名參賽，更不用說冠軍了。所以我覺得將我的成功歸功于他是很公平的。
