申請英國G5的TSA考試是什么？

TSA的全稱為Thinking Skills Assessment，即“思維能力評估”測試。主要考察學生辯證思維的能力和解決問題的能力。目前牛津、劍橋和倫敦大學學院的部分專業(yè)需要這門成績。每年9月份開始報名，11月份考試，來年的1月份出成績。

考試簡介

劍橋大學和UCL的TSA考試只有一個section，90分鐘內(nèi)完成50道題目(50 multiple- choice questions )五選一。其中25道題考察(Problem-solving skills)解決問題的能力，其余25道題則考察(Critical thinking skills)批判式思維能力。

牛津大學的TSA考試則有兩個部分。除了50道五選一的選擇題部分外之外，還有一個Writing Task，考試時間為30分鐘。Writing的部分一般會給出四個題目，學生只需要選擇其中一個題目進行作答就可以了，字數(shù)不可超過1200 。

考試概況

據(jù)統(tǒng)計，參加劍橋大學和倫敦大學學院的TSA考試的考試，TSA平均分都超過50分，但是只有10%左右的考生，其TSA成績是超過70分的，整合分數(shù)60分左右就是比較出色的表現(xiàn)了。換算到卷面成績，這也就是在五十道題內(nèi)答對30+道題的水平。但因為每年試題難易度和考生水準都有變化，所以不能猜測多少TSA分數(shù)才能保證拿到面試。
