美國大學(xué)的三種錄取方式！

美國的大學(xué)總體來說有三種錄取方式，即ED(Early Decision具有約束力的提前錄取)、EA (Early Action不具約束力的提前錄取)和RD(Regular Decision常規(guī)錄取)。前兩者簡單地說是提前批次錄取，最后一種是常規(guī)批次錄取。

1.EA早期行動

英文是Early Action，簡稱為EA。權(quán)wēi的英文解釋是這樣說的：Early action is another type of early amission process for amission to colleges an universities in the Unite States.Unlike the regular amissions process, early action usually requires stuents to submit an application by November 1 of their senior year of high school instea of January 1.Stuents are notifie of the school's ecision by mi-December instea of April 1. There are two types of early action programs: restrictive early action an non-restrictiveearly action. Restrictive EA allows caniates to apply to only one early action institution an to no institutions early ecision, while, as the name implies, there are no suchrestrictions on non-restrictive early action. Regarless, the applicant is still permitte to reject any offer of amission in both types of early action.

申請者必須提前在11月之前遞交申請，大部分學(xué)校EA的申報截止日期時11月1號, 少部分是10月30號或者11月30號或者其他日期。EA申請發(fā)布結(jié)果的時間一般是12月15日左右。與ED不同的是，EA可申請多所大學(xué)，一旦被錄取，申請者可根據(jù)自己的意愿選擇是否入學(xué)。

EA的變種：

SCEA(Single Choice Early Action)是單一選擇的早期行動。與EA基本相同，唯一不同的是，SCEA只能申請一所大學(xué)。

REA是Restrictive Early Action的簡稱，譯為“限制性提前行動”。

無論是SCEA還是REA，都對申請學(xué)生的EA提前申請進行一定的條件限制，但是錄取結(jié)果都不具有約束性。不同的是，與REA相比，SCEA招生政策的限制要嚴格的多：學(xué)生在申請一所實行SCEA招生政策的大學(xué)時，要與該大學(xué)簽署承諾協(xié)議，保證沒有同時向其它美國大學(xué)進行ED和EA的申請。而實行REA招生政策的大學(xué)，一般只會要求學(xué)生在申請該大學(xué)的REA時，不得再申請任何其他大學(xué)的ED，但允許學(xué)生任意申請其他大學(xué)的EA。

2.ED早期決定

申請者必須提前在11月之前遞交申請，大部分學(xué)校ED的申報截止日期是11月1號, 少部分也有10月30號或者11月30號或者其他日期。ED只能申請一所大學(xué)! 申請的時候?qū)W校和學(xué)生會簽訂一份協(xié)議：Early Decision Agreement（需學(xué)生本人，學(xué)生家長，school counselor三方簽字）。協(xié)議大致內(nèi)容是：只能有一所正在進行的ED申請，不能同時申請兩個ED的學(xué)校。 若學(xué)校錄取了學(xué)生，要撤銷其他學(xué)校的申請，即使之前有別的學(xué)校的錄取，也必須來該學(xué)校就讀。ED申請發(fā)布結(jié)果的時間一般是12月15日左右。

3. RD正常批次

英文是Regular Decision，簡稱RD。申請者必須在學(xué)校要求的申請截止日期之前遞交申請，大部分學(xué)校RD的申報截止日期是次年的1月1號，少部分也有1月15號或者2月1號。一般可在4月1日前后收到是否被錄取的通知?？缮暾埗嗨髮W(xué)，一旦被錄取，申請者可根據(jù)自己的意愿選擇中意的大學(xué)入學(xué)，也有一些學(xué)校沒有提前批次和正常批次之說，申請的截止的日期只有一個，比如加州系統(tǒng)的大學(xué)，申報截止日期都是11月30號，華盛頓大學(xué)的截止日期是12月1號。
